About
Paula Whidden
I believe therapy works best when you don't feel like you're sitting across from an expert telling you what to do. I actively participate in the process with you by listening carefully, helping you understand what's happening beneath the surface, and giving you practical tools you can use between sessions.
I am passionate about supporting individuals across all stages of life who seek to integrate their faith with emotional wellbeing. My therapeutic style is compassionate and authentic, utilizing tools like EMDR, CBT, and IFS to help you heal, while offering Gottman-informed care for couples.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor with degrees from Hope International University and Fuller Theological Seminary.
When I’m not in the office, I love spending time in my garden, cooking new recipes, and relaxing with my husband, family, and our beloved dog and cats.
If you’re longing for a safe place to talk about both your heart and your faith, you’re in the right spot.
